Maintenance Technician Opportunity
Swyft Property Care (SPC) exists to be an extension of an apartment building’s on-site team. SPC is a subsidiary of Axiom Family of Companies which is based out of Kansas City and is an owner/operator in the multifamily industry with more than 20 properties in the Kansas City market.

Maintenance Technician (Plumbing Focus)
Swyft Property Care is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician whose primary role centers on plumbing. Core duties include installing and repairing key plumbing components such as fixtures, valves, and piping systems, while handling essential tasks like leak repairs, drain clearing (small and large), and water heater replacements. The work may require digging trenches to access underground pipes, install new lines, or repair buried infrastructure. The position also involves addressing resident service tickets, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with general property repairs across carpentry, electrical, and appliance needs. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in residential maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and a strong working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and appliance repair. This position will include the use of a take-home company vehicle and a monthly cell phone allowance.
**Base Hourly Rate: $24/hr to $30/hr **
Experience & Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant and well-rounded maintenance experience in the multi-family industry
- Strong background in plumbing (install/replacement & service)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable Transportation
- Positive references
